This may have been done already. But with new classifications and schedules wanted to see how these would start to shake out in each division along with new coaching changes. Obviously changes to this can happen with pre-season and seeing who returns. I also dont know schedules so it may not all add up

Clarksburg (3-6)
Gaithersburg (3-6)
NW (8-1)
QO (9-0)
RM (4-5)

4A North
BCC (6-3)
Blair ( 6-3)
PB (7-2)
Wheaton (2-7)
WJ (8-1)
4A/3A West
Magruder (5-4)

Blake has some solid pieces back. Also seems like a not to strong of a schedule. They could sneak up to 7-2 and have one of the better seeds in the classification.

QO going 9-0 with those 2 added Virginia schools would be very impressive. NW is having an influx of SV transfers recently, could be a year where QO goes 6-3 and is still very very good.

Gburg is going to be better than 3-6 Yeah I would say 6-3 is a very reasonable possibility for them. With their talent I would favor them over everyone on their schedule save for QO, Sherwood and SV. Saying that, losing to Magruder, Rockville & RM is not outside the realm of possibility either.

If RM has establishes a run game they could potentially steel an extra game or two and be 5-4 or 6-3. The passing game will be really good and Dixon should be better than last year. It will come down to their oline.
Is Wootton going 5-4 based on coaching and schedule or is there some talent we haven’t heard of? I’m just curious about this prediction.
B-CC will be a boom or bust team this year. They either win 2 games or 6 games. Even though the triple option is solid with QB Carson Griffey there are some holes to fill in particular the loss of Mata. The defense last year had a lot of juniors but will they build on what happened last year. Their Schedule isn’t very favorable to start the year so this team will have to grow up quickly.
We know Churchill has 4 guys who have major college interest but I see them taking a step back. They have running all set but the passing game doesn’t have the depth to match the team from last year especially at the skill position. The coaching staff should help develop the kids but can they reach the talent they had last season. The QB is big but right now they have one true target in Layton Johnson but who else do they have? Until they have an established pass game they win 5-6 games.

I hope the kid stays healthy. A concern for sure with his stature and gritty playing style. Hopefully the staff has some plans to keep him upright along with a plan B if things do not work out.

Typically and statistically speaking when a new coach comes in, especially one from the outside the county there are some growing pains
WJ & RM are question marks. NW & SV should be fine. Springbrook & Poolesville have an uphill climb

Churchill will be fine at receiver and the pass game may be better if Hallas steps up at QB as he has a higher ceiling than Huebl as a passer. Zeke was a special talent, but Churchill was not efficient in getting the ball to its receivers last year - guys were open and missed every game and a scary % of Zeke's catches were jump balls in double coverage. The second half of the season they were heavily a running team. They have Davit Avit, Diesel Ducket, and Jax Wiseman (Bullis transfer) in the backfield so look to be even better on the ground. At receiver, in addition to LJ, they have Lance Hersh (all-IAC at Bullis but back at his home school), Steve Ndingue (second year of FB but already has D1 offer) and Drew Menick, who played well down the stretch as a sophomore. With Churchill, the question is size and depth. They are bringing back most of the lines, but are not deep or particularly big other than Rood. I expect many guys will be playing both ways, just like last year. All of that said, the schedule is MUCH harder this year and I could easily see them slipping to 5-4, but 7-2 or better is certainly on the table, but they have to show up and play from game 1.

QO 9-0 then State Champion
The real estate market is booming in their district. In the last two years transfers from Good Counsel have been able to find housing there on a moment’s notice. 1. Aiden Burgess DT- kicked out of GC, lives in another area of Maryland, not moco but finds housing in North Potomac with the quickness I guess. 2. Nino Marzullo QB 3. Jordan Raeford CB- Played at Bullis in 19-20 while living in PG, GC, and now 5th year in 23 at QO 4. West- DB 5. West- DB
That’s 5 d1 kids coming from GC and not one of them lived in QO district while going to GC, now they all do.
Numerous other kids don’t even live in MOCO- combined with DB Shea Terry playing his 5th year of HS football in 2023 it is now clear Jeff Rabberman or Coach Kelley must have nudes of Jeff Sullivan for him to constantly look the other way.

If a family can afford partial tuition at GC or Bullis, I assume they can afford to rent in Gaithersburg. When kids are coming from Cali, Canada, Europe etc to attend a school in Gaithersburg, coming from Germantown doesnt seem that unreasonable. Did you really make a new profile just to post this? At any rate, good luck this season Coach.

Moving into the area is pretty easy actually, the 5th year is the concern

Above in this same thread two people spoke of NW getting a bunch of SV transfers and how the Churchill new coach will get a bunch of transfers. Why do we always get on QO for doing it in here Every school does it who cares where they get them from. I can tell you there’s a lot of kids going to different schools who don’t live in those areas or even in county. Now what everybody does not have is the ability to have is 5th year players can someone explain to me how this is possible.
