Never underestimate MCPS lol.
Now they are imposing a rule that if > 5% cases in a school, the school must go virtual and no games or practices for 14 days. That means that even if the team is healthy, fully vaxxed and zero cases, the rest of the school could prevent them from playing and practicing.
If this continues to be the rule, the remainder of the season is in severe jeopardy. Seneca Valley has already been tripped up by this rule. Expect others momentarily.

Majority of the county reached that 5% mark today as of 7pm. |

I know Churchill and Wootton played tonight but without fans. Churchill cruised 58-18.

Whitman beat RM last night in OT according to Coach Lun's Twitter. Also see that PB beat Einstein. Believe B-CC beat WJ as well.

Last night heard that Churchill and Whitman had a very close game at Churchill. Believe Churchill won by 4 but trailed into the 3rd and then held on at the end.

Whitman had an 8 point lead at half that was quickly erased in the 3rd. Whitman limited transition opportunities and played well, while Churchill had a bit of an off night and struggled with foul trouble. But Whitman always seems to give CHU fits. The bigger surprise was Wootton beating BCC at the buzzer!
